• Registration for the Lambda Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 50th Anniversary Celebration will give all LS Sorors an opportunity to receive a schedule of events and a special gift for attending.
6p–8p: Meet and Greet
Attire: Casual + Matching Line Attire
• Hosted by the Lambda Sigma Chapter, this event allows chapter initiates to fellowship and engage with Sorors initiated at different times throughout the history of Lambda Sigma. Attendees can expect a fun game night that will include Uno, Monopoly, and many other board and card games. Light finger foods and fun beverages will be provided. Rep your line at this casual event by wearing matching t-shirts and letting everyone know what era of Lambda Sigma you are from!

• Join us for Lambda Sigma's Golden Jubilee Feminine Hygiene Drive! In honor of our chapter's 50th anniversary, the ladies of Lambda Sigma are rolling out the red carpet for a sparkling community service event like no other. Hosted at the Student Union building and parking lot, you may contribute essential feminine hygiene products like pads, tampons, wipes, and more, as well as monetary donations to support this vital cause. Every donation helps make a significant impact. Donated items will be distributed to the Oxford Middle School and Lafayette Middle School. Whether you bring boxes of hygiene products or contribute funds, your support will light up the lives of those students in need and showcase the heartwarming spirit of Lambda Sigma. The option to add monetary donations will be displayed above “Running Total.
11a–-2p: Picnic Johnson Commons Ballroom
• Hey Lambda Sigma Sorors! We have one question for you...ARE YOU READY?! Join us for the ultimate picnic experience. There will be lots of fellowship and fun, including games, vendors, and food. Grab your line sisters, and let's have a good time!
6p–10p: 50 and Fabulous Golden Gala Student Union Ballroom
Attire: Gold Semi Formal/Formal
Calling all devastating divas of the luxurious Lambda Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to gather and celebrate the 50th anniversary of our chapter. On November 14,1974, our 13 trailblazing charter members took it upon themselves to make the yard a better place to be. Now, here we are 50 years later, celebrating the legacy that the Lambda Sigma Chapter has established. This evening, we will gather in the Student Union ballroom to hold our 50–year gala.
This event will be a time of remembrance, fellowship, laughter, and acknowledgment of the fantastic work this chapter has done. The gala committee asks you to dress in your fancy and formal attire, in keeping with our theme, "50 and Fabulous Golden Gala." The event includes food, music, entertainment, and maybe a bit of strolling, so bring some comfortable flats. A professional photographer will be on hand, so make sure your makeup and hair are slayed! The gala committee has put in hard work to make this event a success, and we won't stop until the job is done. We look forward to this special night and to sharing sweet memories that we all will make during this magical evening. We cannot wait to see you there! Forever Lambda Sigma! • Join us for a Spirit-filled service of celebration and thanksgiving for the 50th anniversary of our beloved charter! Join us for an exceptional ecumenical service where our esteemed Lambda Sigma Sorors will gather in fellowship and worship. Expect a day brimming with vibrant energy, uplifting music, and inspiring messages. Dress in your finest church or business attire and get ready for a meaningful experience filled with worship, prayer, and the warmth of community. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
